Lets face it, Honda is behind the times....Lets see, they are the slowest, under power and only 3WD...I would think they are top for reliability, but Yamaha is now giving them a run for that title.

JD,

Thanks for the reply. Your response rings true. I really enjoy the "out of the hole" power of my Polaris 2 stroke. It is not fair to compare the two really. I do know this, the Yamaha's sip the gas compared to the Polaris. I'd say I burn nearly 3 times as much gas because I can't stay out of the throttle.

I will have to stay out of the throttle to ride with my sons as I don't want to train them to be maniacks on the trail. But they do need to be able to ride well enough to keep up with the pace of a pack and not clog the trails. It will be a gradual process.

In hindsight I am pleased I selected the Grizzly 350. I am certain it will fit the bill for what my son will need. We have so many types of terrain it will be interesting to see where the Grizzly excels. I'm thinking hills both climbing and descending. If my Polaris can keep up, I'll report on how the Yamaha does on the trail.
