Default About to buy for first time please help

Hello all I came across this site and decided to join since I will be buying an atv shortly. A few questions though. First, how much should I be paying to get a great deal on an 07 leftover Honda Rincon 680 which MSRP's for $7849? I sell cars for a living and know there is a markup between cost and MSRP. I was quoted a price of $6499 for a 2007 Rincon no gps plus $165 and $40 in fees. Honda has 3.9 fixed apr for up to 36 months and 4.9 for up to 60 months. What should i be paying for this quad and is there any more room? Also I sell Honda cars and know about their reliability so that is an important factor as well as the financing because I have heard of some stories where people did the 39 dollar a month deal and wound up never paying off anything of the principle. Sorry for the novel but oh well, thanks

All I have to say if you get any of the Cards aka Honda card = 39/mo pay it off asap and in case **** happens then you can default and only pay 39/mo. For my R1 the yamaha card was 89/mo @3.9 apr then the rate would go up after 2 years. but it would take me like 15-16 years to pay it off. I payed it off after 2 years.

Welcome to the forums Bootz003.

If you can, get an OTD (out the door) price. That is the bottom line of what you will be paying with all taxes and fees included. If you are getting a good deal 99% of the time, that number is below the MSRP.

If they won't deal on price, see about them throwing in extras. (helmets, gloves etc)

And check how the interest is acrewed, if they charge a fee for early payoff and such.

I got a better deal on my new quad by financing with their card. Then after the first payment, paid off the quad. You may also check into loans from a credit union if you belong to one.

The MSRP is $7,849. I got the out the door price of $7,039. $6499 for quad, $164 doc fee, $40 lien fee and tax 6%. $389.94. 4.9% fixed for 60 months. I guess i did alright. Thanks fellas, i'll write back soon when I get stuck lol. How should I break it in, just take it easy for a few hours?

Different theories on the break in. I'd run it at varying throttle for about an hour, then change the oil and filter. After that, ride it like you normally would.
