well i finally talked the wife into buying some quads before i head back to the sand box, have a little fun before i leave, and pay them off there, anyway,

im getting an outlaw 525, the dealer has a brand new 07, with nerf bars, front grab bar, rear grab bar, and fmf pipe, for the same price as a stock 08, both brand new, which would you buy? im thinking the 07, cause thats about 700 in extras that i wouldn't have to pay for. what are your thoughts, pros cons, both come with same warranty same price everything,

 

I don't know if there is any changes in 07 to 08 outlaws but that sounds like a pretty sweet deal. Those accessories alone would run about 2500.00 at least. I would do it as long as both are new bikes.One thing I would ask the dealer thoe is if they are going to stand by the manufactures waranty if there would ever be a problem caused buy the added acessories [aka engine failure]! Just my thoughts.Good luck.

 

the dealer charged me exactly 500 bucks extra for nerf bars, grab bar, front bumper, and handguards. they wanted 239.99 for the fmf ( which i didnt get ). and 187.99 for the aluminum heel guards ( which i also didnt get ). ide say the 07 isnt a bad deal at all, since its new and its got all that on it. you would pay just as much for it aftermarket, but this way its already there.

 

ya its all warranty as they are factory installs, i think they are just dressing it up to get it out of there to make room for new ones, but i think im gonna do it

 

i wont buy a racing quad without nerfs, to many injurys due to no coverage around the foot area, so if you get either one, i suggest ya invest in some nerf bars. also be suse to hold on, the outlaw i got suprised the hell out of me my first day on it.
