Default Help me decide!

I'm ready to pick up a new fourwheeler. Depending on old Honda's just doesn't do it any more. And I'd like to jump into a 4x4. I don't want to spend more that 6-7K which leaves me with few choices. Of course it all depends on what kind of deal I can get. But they all have there benefits and drawbacks. All feedback welcome! Let me know what you think!

Here are my pics so far.

Sportsman 400 H.O. 4x4
Sportsman 500 EFI 4x4 (a bit on the high end but a possibility)
Brute Force 650 4x4
KingQuad 450AXi 4x4
Grizzly 450 Auto. 4x4
FourTrax Foreman 4x4 with Power Steering (TRX500FPM) (also a bit on the high end but a possibility)

i'd go with the efi. i'm not big on the power steering more expensive to fix when the tree jumps in front of one wheel (it happens lol)
that's a nice list of quads to pick from

Of those choices I'd go with the 500 efi also. Of course for 6-7k you can pick up a real nice 06-07 big bore (800 sp, king quad, 700 grizz, brute, etc.) I see on highlifter.com a guy just sold his 07 800 with very little use for 6k.

I've ridden most of them, my choice was a 500EFI!
Enough power to get it done, not too bad on fuel and easy to get parts for. Lots of nice features I wanted.

Well I'm still looking. And have found that a couple dealers in my area have a bunch of left over 07' honda rincons, rubicons. I've always liked the honda auto's. Not becouse I've always been a honda fan. But I like the trans. Never been a fan of belts, to problomatic for me.

Now if I could pick up one of these left overs. What would you think I'd be able to get the price down to?

A good belt is under $100 and should last thousands of miles. $100 wouldn't go far on a Hondamatic rebuild.

Here is a review with the 450 KQ beating out all the 500 made. Including the Sports man EFI. I would of thought the KQ 450 would be the pricey ATV.

Stay away from the 500 Foreman its the most underpowered ATV in you choice group 26hp even though its a 500. Even the 400 H.O and 450KQ has over 30hp.

Cant believe the Drum brake equipped 500 Foreman is considered on the "hight end".

It comes in dead last in this 500 comparison.

Its not the power steering model but that would not make up for its power disadvantage and suspension.

How can the Brute Force 650 4x4 not be on the high end ? Its in a different class to the other ATVs. If they al cost the same thats the one I would get.

I picked the Brute 650 SRA....handles nice and faster then the rest on the list. Rides ok, not as smooth as a Polaris but more fun to ride...Paid $5900 out the door with a winch...Ride them all and pick what fits you the best and also go with the dealer that treats you good because they all break sooner or later.
