Good used 4x4 to look for?
I am thinking about buying a good used 4x4 for this summer and am debating between a 660 Grizzly or Similar sized Bombardier. How are these machine working out when seeing a fair bit of mud water and snow? Any belt problems? I am new to the automatic bike scene
Thanks

If you buy anything newer than an 03, the belt area will be sealed up pretty good.
There are differences in belt drives, but the yamahas, suzukis, and a/c are all the same idea. They use a centrifical clutch, before the primary belt drive, which allows for idleing in gear. It also allows the belt to always be tight, and in proper adjustment. Burning ,or blowing a belt, is almost unheard of.
Polaris and Kawi use the snowmobile system, where the belt goes slack at idle, to allow idleing in gear, but it also makes for slippage, and heat, and wear, when engageing. Theres a bit more maintance, and adjustments too.
All are relaible enough, to not strand you on the trail.

don't know about the newer polaris quads.mine does'nt need belt adjustments or maintance.replacement is easy remove cover "roll" the old belt off "roll" the new belt on.as far as water getting in has'nt happened to me yet but i know it will sometime.i've been in water about 18"deep with no problem and snow 18" deep got hung up a couple of times but mine is 2x4 so i was'nt surprized.use low range when your supposed to you wont have a problem with a belt drive
