Default Buying a Used Sport Quad

Hey wiswolvyII I only live about 30 mins away. If you need help looking for a machine let me know.

But let me tell you the Honda 400EX is a great machine for trailes, it's very nimble quick machine. But it is oil cooled. I have a friend has one and it is a beast very reliable machine...

the 400ex seems a bit outdated(air cooled) and the z is in roughly the same price class as the predator raptor and yfz. i like the z's concept, i just dont want to have to spend hundreds of dollars on the z to make it keep up with the open class machines when i could have bought one from the start.

the 400ex is oil cooled suzuki is better in cooling, but i agree with pmcc37 he is 100% right 400ex freakin regulate z. and about the 01' raptors, if you find a real good deal i would take it becasue you can either buy a after market tranny or get one off a newer one, but they are very top heavy and bad handling so if your gunna be riding trails i wouldnt, the 400ex are great for all around and are real tough i got one and go to the dunes, mud bog, trail ride, and desert ride so they are the most reliable and all round atv's. oh and if your gunna look around and find a 05' model or newer if you want a lil more stock power, and reverse!!!!
