Good deal or not? Help!

Hello all. Okay, so I missed the Honda I was looking at, but I found a 2002 Vinson with 471 hours and 4868 miles for $3000 (US). Is this a good deal? NADA average retail is $3041, so seems in lne, but I don't know about the miles/hours. I was looking at buying a new KQ750, but no payment sounds very good right now. I have never owned a Suzuki, but many Hondas, but never any with odometers or hour meters on them so I have no idea. I think it osunds like a lot of miles, but am I wrong? The bike seems to be in very good condition overall, and the seller says he has run full synthetic in everything since 120 miles. Any thoughts? Anything specific I should check? Thanks.
