I am looking to buy my first quad, i went onto craigs list and found a Honda TRX 250 and it says that it starts every time and just needs a new battery. They are asking 1200 for it, is this a good price for it or should i keep looking. Also is this a good quad for a rider who will go out about twice a week in connecticut? Hey! I live in CT too! I bought a Suzuki Ozark 250. First thing's first, ask the seller why he is selling it. What year is it, do you know? And lastly, most 250s are pretty good because they are basic. They aren't all high tech so they are reliable (not saying hi tech ATVs arent) and all have pretty good features.

I live in Bristol, not many places to ride, so i go to granby usually.

 

sorry for getting back to you so late. I've never heard of granby. Is it legal to ride there? How is it? Down where I live, we have to own land or know someone who owns land to ride. Luckly, me and my friend both have some land, and the occasional "lets ride where we are not supposed to" trails. They really have to open up some good, legal, trails around here!! Because to get to my trails, I've got to go through one of the worst swamps EVER!! And with a 2 wheel drive, 250cc ATV, it's not very easy, even with interco swamp lites on the rear.

 

Granby is up north right next to mass. its not legal to ride there, but my friends got some land there, i have a friend in bristol with a little bit of land too, and a lot of riding area thats not his land, but we still go.
