Default Vbike Thunder 300

Anyone have any experience with this quad. I have heard the horror stories of buying the Chinese imports, but while casually looking up these imports for a buddys kid stumbled across the Vbike line. I must say the Vbike's look better than any other import brand I had looked at. Look just like the Jap bikes. Anyways, in the specs on the quad it rated its hp at 22, and speed at 65 mph. Now I'm no fool, this sounded a bit far fetched to me. I emailed the company and asked about these numbers. The reply I got was that this is a powerful 300 cc motor. So maybe it does produce 22hp? I am thinking though to reach 65 they are geared way up with taller tires or something.

So I was wondering what anyone thought, and if anyone has any expereince with this lineup and the 300cc Vbike.

Hey FGF:

I just received our families (3) VBikes 250 V4S today at 11:30am (not bad s the delivery window was 11 to 3:00pm !!!)

Anyway--used 2 bottles of blue loctite--had to drill a few holes to help line up the bolts on some the trim (the foot peg areas--mesh and fender splash guards)

Most of the bolts were tight--checked many of them and will continue to re-check --especially during break in period--found 1 missing cotter pin and 1 or 2 nits that needed tightening and that was for all 3 units--not bad !!!

The fit and finish were much better than expected. the engines are all running smoothly and my 9 year-old daughter was up and riding her 150cc Auto as soon as she got off the school bus today. Had her riding for about 30-45 minutes very slowly in order to break the engine in slowly.

The 250's went together very smoothly with no problems. All 3 units electrical harnesses were easy to figure out (color coded) and all 3 engines strted up quickly and ran great.

Plan on going up to a friends house in Erie (5 acres of property to run around on) Will continue to use the forum and you guys have all been great.

We were a big hit in the neighborhood today and to think for the price of a 1/2 of one Brand name ATV--we now have 3 great ATV's for the family.

Talk to you guys:

Cool, let us know how they work out after a little time on the seat. Interested in how fast and how they handle, the supplier told me they have more hp stock than a 300ex.
