has anyone delt with Southern Honda in TN?
I am thinking about purchasing a new honda atv and Southern Honda seems to have the best prices of anywhere that I can find. Out the door is about $1,500-$2,000 less than anywhere in the area where I live. (Charlotte, NC) I have heard that they are hard to beat but would like to hear from someone that has actually purchased from them. I will be financing a new machine and having to drive the distance to pick it up. But if they are as good as they say then it is worth the drive. Any feedback would be great!
Thanks

ozark_rida you want find a better price than Southern Honda of Chattanooga anywhere in the USA that i know of , my brother bought a new 2007 Honda street bike from them and he saved over $3000.00 than the local Honda Dealer here in North Ga. ; we live about 28 miles from Chattanooga TN i don't know how many miles from Chattanooga you live it would depend on the mileage and price per gallon of fuel for you to drive there !
My brother bought a new 2002 Honda Rancher TRX350FM manual shift 4x4 here in North Ga. in 2001 , only to find out a few months later he could've gotten the same quad from Southern Honda for over $2500.00 less thats why he bought the Street bike from them in the spring of 2006 saving over $3000.00 ; the only thing to watch out for is the extended warranty they try to sale you !
Just buy the quad with the factory Honda warranty even though they will try to sell you the extended warranty , they will tell you that you can't buy the extended warranty from anyone but them ( just a gimmick to pad their pocket ) ; my brother didn't fall for it because the local dealer here tried the same thing to him when he bought the new Rancher a few weeks before the Honda factory warranty ran out Honda sends a letter to the buyer for an extended warranty for about 1/3 the price of the one that Dealership's offer !
So i would buy from Southern Honda and wait on Honda to send me the offer for their extended factory warranty if the distance from your location is worth the savings , you can get a price quote from Southern Honda either online or buy toll free number then deside if it's worth the difference ; it all depends on how far you have to drive but the factory warranty is good at any good Honda Dealership in the USA !..........

TNHondaMan, you're right on point with that. I'll be driving to Arkansas (from Dallas) to get my new atv, saving myself about $1500. Going on the trip is a part of the excitment for me. Plus, I get to stop by my brother-in-laws and break it in on my way back.

yeah yall are prolly right
its gonna save me about $1500 on my purchase and that is great only thing is I will have to make this a day trip so it will be a long day! but well worth it
another question I have is how the taxes work on a purchase outside of your home state. I know that I will not have to pay TN taxes but will I have to pay NC taxes and how do I go about doing that?

i bought an atv from georgia last year and paid taxes when i bought it,but that was it. and exactly what taxes are you talking about? i mean, here you dont have to register it,have a lisence,or any kind of papers unless you want insurance. what are you picking up? ill show you some bad *** places here in chatt to ride man. and make the trip, you dont want to pay some dude to drive YOUR toy up there. thanks buckdw, but you know that feeling. driving fast to get it home off the trailer, cant be explained....
