08 Polaris Sportsman 800 or 09 Arctic Cat 700 H1
#1
Hello,
I am looking for advice on buying a new ATV. I have it narrowed down to a 08 Sportsman 800 Browning Edition $7732 OTD or a 09 Arctic Cat 700 H1 Limited Edition $8300 OTD.
I will be using the machince for ice fishing, hunting and yard work. What are the pro and cons of each machine?
Is a double A-arm front and rear on the AC a better system compared to the Polaris suspension?
I would like to have more low end torque than top end speed.
The AC dealer told me the belt on the AC is always in motion even if the machine is stopped. He said this is better than the Polaris because when starting from a dead stop the belt is already moving therefore less prone to blowing a belt. He said the Polaris belt is only moving when the machine is moving. Is this true?
I understand the differences between the 4x4 systems, but what are the pros and cons of each.
Who has the stronger frame?
Sorry for all the questions but I want to make the best choice for the money. Thank for the help!
