from seeing both of these machines perform out on trails,( not the mud ) the brute force has more power than the grizzly in factory form. Since its got some mods for mudding im not sure where the power stands, but my guess it that it will still have more. In the past ive heard nothing but problems with the brute as far as tie rods bending and belt problems. Thats all i know on that. As far as the grizz, less power(still has plenty though) and i never hear or have seen an issue with one yet. Since both are set up for mud, theres no telling which one is actually the better of the two with out riding. The grizz may have some performance mods. My friends have or had both, and the friends with grizz still have them, the friends with the brute dont. one actually down graded to an arctic cat 500 and was pleased with the trade. He actually gets to ride now.

Yea ive heard some problems with the brute and my friend has a grizzly and i love it but i wanna get something a bit different and the brute is but im just worried about problems which are going to happen to almost any atv you buy. the brute in the link has 2,000 miles on it and he says its running good with no problems.

My friend has the 660 Grizzly there are very very few places you can open one up and even if you can 65mph does not feel safe on any ATV made with 5psi balloon tires,it not what those tires were ment fore.

90 mhp on my sled feels safer then 55 mph on my ATV.

I have read every post I could find .the grizz has less promblem post, but I still bought 08 brute 750. the most important thing to me was Fi and IRS and the brutes were $1500 to $2000 cheaper used. I am going with up graded ball joints and tie rod,+ends, because I have over size tires 26" mud lights. The twin motor has seam less power, and IRS hugs the trail

there have been a few members that have had issues with drowning their engines from water splashing in the airbox from some very shallow puddles, so maybe a snorkel or airbox mod might be something to look into for your brute.
