Default 2002 honda 400 ex ... might purchase today

2002 honda 400ex

Here are pics the guy emailed me....Its worth $1970 on blue book and this guy wants $1500. He says everything works perfectly and runds great. The only thing wrong with it is a cracked front fender. I can just zip tie that. I dont think there is any way to loose money on this thing if I buy it. I can resell it for more than what I paid or at least get my money back if I wanted to. What do you guys think?

Looks good to me. I live in Canada where a 3 wheeler in that shape is $1000.

Yeah I think its a great deal. I was going to wait and save up for a 4x4 utlility atv but I cant pass up a good deal. And it will be fun riding it on the trails. I might sell it later on down the road and buy a large 4x4 atv but at least I wont loose any money on this. Im going up there later to look at it.

If the cracked fender,is the only issue, I would try Ebay to find one, the EX never changed much and they made many, chances are high to get the front plastic cheap.

I have seen them for $150 on ebay. Ill just zip tie stitch it for now. Or maybe use some epoxy.

Sounds like a good puchase I picked up an 01 for 1400 a few months ago lovin it ever since. As far as the fenders I would just zip tie them and keep your eveys open on craigslist typicaly you can find a used set for around 50 give or take with no cracks there is so many of them out there you will eventually find some.
