Looks good to me. The only thing I would question would be going 12" wide tires on the rear. Just a preference for you? I would think a 10" wide would be good enough if you have 9" on the front. As for 26" being all you can go on a Rancher, I'd say that's all the bigger you would want to go with the added weight. Just my opinion.

Ok thank you!! No its not a preference I was just messin around, not really sure what I was doin lol.... glad I asked. I haven't ordered them yet. when I was lookin at the bighorns, I noticed they have white letters on them, not sure I like that. It doesn't look like the 2.0's do but I'm not sure what the difference is? Also doesn't look like the 2.0's come in a skinnier front tire, so they'd be the same size all around I guess. Right now I'm looking at the ITP 589s....

 

The 589's will last forever but you must remember the harder the tire the harsher the ride. The 589's are a great tire but a little rough on a SRA machine. Maybe the Swamplite would be a good tire. Soft but sometimes wear a little quicker. All 4 tires the same size can be good. can always rotate them if the back wears quicker.

 

There's so many to choose from lol... ill just tell you what kind I'm looking for and maybe you have a better idea than I do. Any that do good in mud, hills, snow and hard packed areas. They will be on the road some so prefer some that don't wear easily. I won't be going in holes so deep I need a snorkel though. Don't want anything so heavy that ill lose a lot of power, but still want one that will get the job done but still has a smoothe ride. The swamplites do sound good. I also like the look of grim reapers. Would u just stick with 25' instead of goin to 26? My rancher is a 400. It should be fixed sometime this week I hope... I'm just ready to throw some tires on and ride lol

 

I think if mudding isn't something you're really into, 25" would be fine. Some tires measure smaller in heighth than stated (my 25" Mudlites were 24") and some taller. Swamplites lean toward true or maybe a little taller. I can only give you advice on the tires I have and it sounds like the Swamplites would be a good fit for you. The Swamplites in 25" come with a 3/4" tread and the 26" has an 1 1/8 tread. Personally I liked the deeper tread. Made me feel I was getting more for my money-LOL

I do a little mudding, mostly trail riding. I'll have to check them out. They have good reviews too and I like the price lol... I was looking at the radial tires on there, that might be what I need Idk. The swamplites sound like they'd be good too. Thanks for all your help!

 

I'd love to have radials too but figured, for the price I could get two sets of Swamplites for the price of the radials. Of course, I am a little frugal-LOL

 

Lol nothin wrong with that! Either way beats havin to buy a new quad tho like I was gonna do at first lol I sure hope they get it runnin this time!

 

I'm sure they'll get it goin....then riding time starts! It's such a shame how expensive these ATV's have gotten. Anymore we HAVE to fix them. Can't hardly afford a new one.
