I wanted one with power steering, but hard to find used.
I wanted a Polaris Sportsman 570 EPS but can't find a
used one.
I don't want to spend any more money than I have to.
But maybe I will.
Thanks, Kliph

The 570 maybe a hard one to find used right now since they have not been out for long and the majority of them may not have power steering since its a $800 add on option.
Many people would oped for a good winch or nice tires and rims upgrade instead for that much money.
Maybe I would pay $200 for P.S but not almost a grand.
I rode and owed many ATVs and notice they are not hard to steer.

Have you realized the way cheap hardware and electronics usually work and last? A 200 dollar power steering unit? Imagine the P.O.S that thing would be. A cheap steering dampener goes for 150-200 and they don't work that well or last very long. How would a manufacturer be able to warranty anything that cheap? You get what you pay for and in powersports, that saying is always true

Power steering is a new feature that's why its so expensive right now on ATVs and will drop in price. Like the first computers were $4000 and Microwaves ovens were $800 in the 70s.
Remember when air conditioning and power windows were considered a option on a car, now they only come with all cars standard.
I,m curious to see how these power steering hold up once they are a few years old and have a few thousand hard bush runs on them.
I just think SS Rims with nice tires is more bang for the buck then power steering for the same money.

The one the dealer has is a 2007 Grizzly 400 Auto. 4x4, 401cc.
>>> Grizzly 400 Automatic 4x4 has many of the same great features as big brother Grizzly 450, including four-wheel independent suspension, in a lighter package powered by a fuel-efficient liquid-cooled engine.<<<

As far as reliability goes, I know the Hondas and yamahas have been holding up pretty good. They are going on 7-8 years offering PS now. Everyone seems to like it but you lol

When a ATV is hard to steer , maybe its time for a wheel chair instead.
@ Kilfp
Did not know they still made the 401cc in 2007. The ATV is so close to the 421cc Grizzly . I doubt 20cc would be any difference due to a 3.5mm stroke differance. I,d still look at it.
Check their specs out on this link, they are almost 99% the same machine.
I know the 450 has diff lock, but the link does not state it. http://www.atvreviewnetwork.com/enth...e2=38369&go=Go

Power steering is useful on a 2 up big bore. Not needed on a mid sized atv anyway like kilfp is looking at. I was more referring to the fact that a 200 dollar power steering unit will never happen. I've never owned a PS atv but if I was shopping for a new big bore atv, I'd certainly rather have it then not. A lot of people used to think that if you needed irs, that it was time for a wheel chair. Times change. PS will also act as a dampener. Ask gncc and hare scrambler racers what their most important mod is, 8/10 will tell you it's their steering dampener

I just was saying maybe as a $200 option I would look into P.S but if that day never comes then I guess I do not have to worry about it.
I not paying almost same price for a 500KQ with PS as a 750KQ without it, but that's just me.
A 500KQ with $1500 worth of engine mods will never be like a stock 750.
