First ATV Purchase. Impossible Question.

I know this is opening a can a worms, but I've never owned an ATV before. I'd like to buy an ATV specifically to use for hunting big game and some trail riding. My hunting/riding will be in Colorado and Utah. I'd love to hear which brands/models experienced riders would recommend. I'm not a big person, 5'10", 173 lbs. so I don't think I necessarily need a 1000 cc monster. But I'd love to hear thoughts on engine size as well. Just looking on the internet I was sort of considering the Can-Am Outlander Mossy Oak Edition 650 and the Yamaha Grizzly EPS XT-R. But I'm really open to any quality brand/model. I own a Polaris General SxS that I really like. I just know nothing about ATVs. Thanks!

For your size pick up an older working bayou 300 that way you can get used to riding a quad first and the parts for repair will be cheaper. bayous can be tempermental but they are a fairly sturdy quad. ive been rebuilding one over winter and after figuring out its issues ive got a strong running quad. a 300 has front and rear racks and can tow a trailer so you have plenty of options for removing your kill as well.
