I thought lazy people were those who read and reply to stuff on atv forums web sites all day. I may be wrong though

To the guy riding at night without a flashlight. First if you are riding at night without a flashlight unless the guage is lighted how u gonna read it? But for the sake of argument you have a guage and no flashlight are you that good at pouring fuel in the dark. Id say if your not bright enough to bring a flashlight on a night ride you probably forgot the fuel can too!

I heard it adds too much weight and it makes the sportsman roll over easy if they would have added the fuel gauge lol

I guess I agree a fuel gage should come with it but, They are a relitivle inexpensive add on. I paid $13.95 ea for the gauges on my gen 3 machines. In my opinion 15.00 is not worth even talking about. I also belive if it was a big concern when buying, any respectable dealer would give you one with the sale, IF YOU ASKED.

Several of my friends ride Polaris's with no gas gauges. Some swear they will never own another Polaris because of it and some could care less. Buy what you like.

When I bought my 99 Scrambler 500 4x4, my dealer threw in a gas gauge. It was simple enough to just ask for it.

You don't need a fuel gauge for a Polaris. It will break down on the trail before it runs out of gas. Just make sure you fill it up everytime its in the shop and you'll never run out of gas.

Curtis026,
calling Polaris brakes bad is a big step from someone that owns a Blaster. Probably the worst designed brakes in the industry. I am speaking from experience as I got rid of mine for a scrambler. At least they are going to fix them for 2003. Plus I can buy the option to split the front and rear brakes.
