Polaris, that is a funny word.
That word also pisses me off.
Polaris if they are not off trying to rip-off a customer, they are out stealing other companies ideas.
How many of you like the X on there scrambler X and there snowmobiles. Well, lets see, oh ya that is bombardiers X just upside down and insideout. Wow it must be really hard to make an X...?
Also I have never had a Polaris that runs right sleds (94 indy 400 & 500, 96 xcr 440, 99 xc 600) wheelers (94 sportsman 400 & 97 sportsman 500)...
Sleds Blowup, or dont run.
Wheelers dont run.
Sorry I just dont understand them?

Yeah Yeah, and the 700 has got the post powerfull engine ever put into a utility ATV, blah blah, We'll see what happens in the real world. If the hype turns out to be just like the 700, (just hype) there are gonna be a lot of people laughing..............
Just my 2 cents.

When I bought my Kawi 650 I was also considering a SP700 from the very same dealership. Since they carry both lines, I got to sit side-by-side. Here is how I decided which ATV to buy. Mind you, I would have been happy with either one.
SP700 has IRS; 650 does not.
650 has V-twin; 700 did not.
SP700 had silver rims and rawhides; 650 needed different tires
SP700 looks tough as nails; 650 looks like just another quad
650 had separate front and rear brakes; SP700 had one lever.
As you can see it was a tough decision for me and I weighed that decision every night for two months. I spent too many hours online looking at pics and reading about each ATV.
It came down to this:
650 beat the SP700 in multiple drag races outside the dealership.
650 had gas gauge and ripcord pull start.
This is why I chose the 650 over the SP700. I spend too much time in the boonies of western, ND and not knowing my gas and having a backup starter was the clincher for me.
