dude i would go for a 400ex if i were you. they are rad for the style of riding you describe

I to am a bigger rider 6 ft 260 Lbs.
I have sat on Honda and Yamaha bikes.
I know you said 5k but you may want to up that a little and try the DS650.
The DS is much Longer and More comfortable for Larger Riders.
