He has only had the Prarie for about a month and he has kept even with the Rubicon and Sportsman. But....the scary thing is he says he has a lot of throttle left. I don't think he really opened it up yet.

I love my Arctic Cat 375. It is an automatic, 4X4, and has the same engine as the Suzuki Eiger but on a stronger frame and more clearance. Mine was $4995.00. Top speed around 55 MPH.

Happy hunting.

Yes, AC 375 auto would be a good choice, top speed is about 50 and they are great at hill climbing! Plus has the same frame and ground clearance as the 500 ACT!

I have both a Kodiak and an Eiger. Both excellent machines that easily go over 50 MPH. I'm a newbie too so keep that in mind when considering my opinion. I'd take the Eiger over the kodiak and its cheaper at least where I live. The Kodiak appears to have quicker pick-up and may be better in tight spots, but the Eiger is slightly larger, feels more comfortable and much more stable to me. Also, I know the Eiger is limited slip, but, I've seen 3 wheels spitting mud while the forth is in the air spinning. I haven't been able to confirm that on the Kodiak... yet. BTW, I know you can get an Eiger 4x4 Auto for under 5K.... I couldn't touch a new Kodiak for that much.

just my .02 cents.

find a used Kodiak or Eiger. Keeping up with a rubicon will be like spitting on the ground, and the 500 shouldnt be too bad. The 650 will challenge ya alot (duh) but hey its a 650 twin!

I would look for a good deal on a used one. Buy from the right seller and you can get a hell of a deal.
