The Best for the Money
#1
I have $4000 dollors that plan on using for a quad. What do you guys think will be the best choice for my money, a banshee, 250R, LT250,or 400EX. I know all of them have their advantages and disadvantages but I can't seem to discide on which one is the best. Maybe some of your opinions would help.

It depends on what you are shootin' for. What type of riding? Terrain? Like 2 or 4 stroke. All of these are good sport quads. I have owned 3 of the 4. They all have + & -'s. It really does depend on a lot of things. Get back to me and I may be able to help more.

If you are gonnna spend all your time in sand go with the banshee. On a track go with a 250r. Allaround riding go with the 400ex. Avoid the lt250 parts are not as readily available. This is not to offend lt owners just stating the facts.

I will be doing a little of everthing but mainly will be riding trails and riding on a home made track. I am kind of leaning towards the 400EX but I am a little worried about have it a few mouths a then deciding its to slow for me. Do you think I whould have this problem being its a 4 stoke.

I have a LT250R (Suzuki), it'll go like hell, once you get some mod. parts...
the only thing that I've really found with my bro. as a begenner is that there is no rear suspension in it... it's like riding on a wooden box with wheels... (I might be exagerating, just a little).

If you think it is too slow then put a few hop up mods in the engine .For all around ease of riding go with the 400ex.

I know you only asked about those 4 quads but i would go for a blaster. It is absolutely the best for your money. The only downer with this would be the brakes. This can be fixed with hydraulic brakes. I have a blaster and it is awesome.
