I've come down to a decision between these two . The Rancher is 200 cheaper with a finance charge of 5.8 The Eiger is at 9.8. I know all the extra features that the eiger has , but has anyone had any relialibity issues with it or with Suzuki in general. I really consider that to be one of the most important issues. Thanks!

 

Mine has been reliable and has been alot of fun. Hondas are known for there reliability but Suzuki is also known for making the best engines on the market too. The Eiger will be more fun to ride i can already tell you that!

suzuki is just reliable as honda

 

I haven't owned an eiger but my rancher was easy on fuel and very dependable.It makes a great utility quad if you want a smaller lighter machine.

 

suzuki is not as reliable as honda....ain't gonna get into it...it's been beat to death....but that doesn't mean honda is a better atv.....if reliability is your main concern, then yes honda is better...the suzuki will undoubtedly outperform it...faster, funner...gotta figger what's more important to ya.

 

I can kind of agree with you GreatCanadian but Suzuki is a very reliable machine, Always have since there first tribute!

 

Yes Eiger....suzuki is indeed a reliable machine...but still, in my opinion it isn't quite as reliable as a honda....i am not knocking suzuki in any way...one of the riders in our group has an eiger and it is a very fun machine and quicker than my rancher...it's just that it is impossible for different manufacturers to create the exact same degree of reliability....and in my opinion, honda has the edge there....sure there are hondas that will give lots of trouble, but in general, with the millions of quads out there, hondas give the least problems.

 

I have both, and my Suzuki is more reliable as of right now, Honda is coldblooded, and minor probs with the Electronic Shifting. Eiger is really awsome, liking it more and more.
