I recently purchased a Winch mount kit from CMP/Fuse Powersports for a 03 Polaris Sportsman 700. Opening the boxes was like an early Christmas gift as I was excited to get this on my machine and start plowing snow in Central WI. So while in my nice warm dining room, the table covered in parts and instructions, much to the annoyance of my wife, I attempted to loosely mount everything in anticipation of putting in on the wheeler. I discoverd that the fair lead mount plate holes line up correctly with the carriage bolt holes on the winch mount plate. I also purchased a Superwinch LT 2000 for the wheeler which has a two bolt mount pattern. Much to my chagrine, the winch mount holes will only line up with one of the two carriage bolt holes!!!! I tried calling CMP/Fuse Powersports only to be disconnected (Thanks Verizon)!!! Has anyone had this problem, and if so, do I need to move the fair lead mount plate to a different set of holes...and use different bolts, put washers on the carriage bolts, what??? Thanks for any help you can give!!! Btw, the snow is flying here!!!
