Default 01 DS650 Help Please,,,Starts sometimes??

Hey guys i'm new here looked like a great forum! I have an 01 DS650 starts sometimes maybe runs for a min to 10 min then acts like its starving for fuel then dies & won't start Even with gas or carb cleaner directly in carb while cranking, So this tells me its not a fuel problem & kinda seems electrical to me, it;s Got a new battery & yesterday I went out it started right up rode for about 10 min like it should then crapped out, now I started it it idled barely reved then stalls, who know next time it could run fine again seems unpreditable....ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATE!

Have you had the Carbs cleaned out. If you've had it set to long at times with out turning the fuel off the fuel could be clogging the jets with gunk, also make sure stator wires arn't being pinched. and make sure your fuel tank is breathing. Ensure the fuel line isn't piched either. Goodluck.

Try cracking the gas cap open when the problem starts to happen - that will tell you it is a pinched off vent line. It happen to me a few years ago - took me a while to figure that one out.

I have a 2k 650 starts kind of rough usually have to choke and spray starting fluid. Sometimes it will run like a top, lately it has been bogging, sputting, just when I simply try accelerating then usually cuts off. Could it be cdi box, rectifier regulator, spark plug wires, or simply clean the carb. Please help deeply appreciated

Clean the carb and put some new plugs in it and then see.
