I am looking for one for $4000-$5000.Prefer Baja in the WI,ILL,IN,MI area.Any advice on what I should expect for that money and who is willing to sell?

I probably am not going to be any help, but it looked like you needed a reply. I live in southern Iowa and looked for a DS for four months. I saw them cheap on e-bay and found a couple people through the paper that had the older ones pretty cheap. I ended up spending a fortune, $6800, for mine from a dealer. It may sound dumb, but he now gets me parts and accessories for cost or just a little more. It may not be the cheap way, but my dealer is excellent and I am happy. I have looked since I bought mine and have found no close Bajas for sale. There is a dealer about 150 miles from me that advertised he would sell his left over 2003's for $5600. I called up and he was sold out[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]. All I can say is good luck and you will love your DS once you get it.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Yes I too saw them cheap on E-bay.Maybe I'm not being realistic cost wise.Thanks for the reply.Being a Nondale owner I agree service after the sale is very,very important.
