its funny how honda stays outta this fourm...
I really haven't seen any bike bashing in the Bomb door. Guys here seem to be real good guys. Bottom line is that most rides out there are pretty good rides. Some do better for certain types of people, and some of us don't have a choice (not that I wouldn't ride a DS if I had a choice). Honda makes some damn good stuff and they are solid. In my personal opinion, they are some of the best made machines around. Even buying generators, cars, motorcycles etc. etc. Honda is known for quality. They may not be the fastest or the most stylish, but they are SOLID. My buddy's 417ex flat out moves, and is one of the most reliable machines I've seen. The 250R is amazing. I like my DS and get excited everytime I get a chance to ride. I had a Sportsman 700 before this and it was not even in the same ball park as my DS. Then again, I was probably riding it harder and in conditions than they were meant to be run in. I have 2 Trailblazer 250's and a Sportsman 90 for my Wife and kids. They seem to be holding up great.
ride what you like and be proud of your machine and it's abilities.
Cheers

Thanx dsracer666, i have never had a bone to pick with ds owners or the quads, and i dont like these people coming in here starting reumers(however you spell ruemers) and giving us bad names for defending our quads like most people tend to do, defend their quads. I am glad to be able to come in here without worrying about anyone saying "what are you doing in here you dont own a bombardier!" but it was ussually from kawasaki people and not from honda or yamaha people(since i own both), but i have heard people tell other honda/yamaha guys to get out of that forum.Anyway, good talking to all you nonflaming bomb owners.

So you guys are civil and helpful here in the Bomb thread? Refreshing. There's too much smack and not enough tech on the Yam and Honda forums, fo'sho'. How awesome is the Outlander 400? How reliable, how does it perform, what are its shortcomings? Like to hear about some real world experience with it, thanks in advance.
