Default Bearing Dust Covers

Does anyone know if the '04 dust covers on the front bearings will work on the older DS' or is it just not worth the time and money? I haven't had any problems with my bearings, but I am religious about maintenance?

Thanks

Justin

Look at a side view of a new DS and there is a little black cover over the front wheel bearings. It is in the center of the front wheels. On my DS you can see the castle nut that preloads the bearing.picture link

I'm almost positive those will go right on the older models.... They are just mainly for looks because the wheel bearings obviously have seals.....
