Default How do i permanently remove my fan?

Ok guys this is the scenerio. My fan has not run since silver lake 2002 and i want to remove it. I am running liquid ice and rad schroads(sp?) i have the unit removed from the radiator but i am not sure where to disconnect it. shoud i just cut it @ the fan itself or is there a better way than to just jerry-rig?

thanks in advance

The wires you want to disconnect are up under the left side of the fuel tank, right along side the frame. It is a plug in type connection. No need to remove the tank or anything to get to it either. I would suggest filling the plug connector with sylicone or something.

One suggestion, since the fan is 12 volt, why not wire in a light to tell you when its about to get hot on the dash. Also consider a water cooler.

Thats a good idea Marky...I think i'll do that any way even though I still use the fan. That way when it goes aout again (and ya know it will) i'll not only know it but also know to get moving so i can get some air across the rad. Good tip dude.
