Default Cdale a good investment?

Guys, dont worry ill never sell the DS, but ive been thinking about adding a Cdale to my garage.. lets hear your imputs.. there are a few companies out there saying theyll be carring parts for long to come.. but i dont think there makeing new parts, just sell off the old.. How do the dales compare to the new YFZ, maybe that would be a better choice but the Cdales are awsome machines. what do you guys think?

There are lot of aftermarket parts available now that werent before the bankruptcy that are actually improved from stock .tranny gears ,cranks.valves .clutch baskets, update kits,. Its all out there and on another cannondale forum they have a huge list of all the suppliers. Remember there is no dealer support for warranty and you should get a D&M kit when you purchase to keep your fuel injection running strong.

C-Dale seems like an unknown factor to me. I don't like unknowns when I invest (quad or stock).

Buying a C-dale would not be a wise investment. Even if they have parts for years to come there is still going to be a wait for them. Go with the proven stuff. At least your headaches will not be as severe.

...And I thought JetJock was thinking of buying the company! HAH! It probably doesn't cost much anyhow if you wanna buy it. I mean heck, we could put together a fund from all of the guys & gals on the forums and buy Cannondale. Now wouldn't that be fun?

In the cycle trader (san diego) ALBA Action Sports is selling brand new crated canibals for $4800. I'll bet they could be talked down some more to. But what a price difference, when I bought the sled a couple years ago the canibals were going for no less than $10,500 at ALBA. So the moral of the story is getting a decent new quad for a smokin' price -- No great loss if you run it into the ground in 5 years.

If you buy a atv as an investment you have made your first mistake. Unless you leave it in the crate and sell it 25 years later there will be no profit in it. If you want a butt kicken wheeler than dont want to spend $7000 plus not including add ons and upgrades Dales cant be beat right now while they last. When production starts back up the prices will be going up so until then there should be some good deals for the next 6 months . Just remember these are high performance finicky machines and if you cant deal with that stay clear.

Cycletrader There's a ton of 'em! Check out the dealer with Cannibals for $4300-$4900. Mighty tempting at that price.
