If you read the bottom of the auction, it states, NO CUSTOMER PICKUPS. Sounds to me to be a scam. No pickups, no paypal, no cod's. Also, a brand new 2001 with a 3 year warranty. They dont offer a 3 year warranty on any quad ever built. If anyone has had their quad stolen in that area, I would definately check this out.

Umm 100$ for shipping? That seems kinda low...doesn't it?

I beg to differ with you about the 3 year warranty. When I purchased my DS I also purchased a 3 year extended warranty, which is transferable to a new buyer. Wish I would have saved the money from the warranty and spent it on mods instead.

 

Hi guys i just got a call from a lady saying the person who's selling the Bomb, stole all her credit card info, and used her account. Thats why it is no longer posted on ebay. That's crazy

 

When I saw it I told my wife that I thought that it was probably stolen ID. I got an email from what looked like ebay saying I needed to update my account and it had the login page with user id and password to fill in within the email, I didn't believe it and went to the ebay security page and got their email add. I then went back to my email and forwarded it to ebay. Come to find out it wasn't them someone was trying to get my id and password. Ebay emailed me and said it was a spoof email and that they would never ask for private info by email.

 

These scams have been going on for a while now on Ebay, mostly with ATV's but also with some cars. They are a dirt cheap "but it now" usually with free or cheap shipping, and are located somewhere in Europe. Also they want the money sent through a wire transfer. They are stealing Ebay users's ID's and feedback. They are pretty stupid too. Using the feedback and ID of a woman who sells something like collectable dolls and now is selling a quad????? Come on now[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img] I have found about 5 of these scams myself and have notified Ebay about them. Ebay has been quick to take them off. If anyone finds one of these scams, (and it will be obvious that its a scam). And like marrtoo said, NEVER give anyone your Ebay information. They will never ask for it so don't give it to anyone. Buyer Beware. These guys are really getting on my nerves
