New LTE Racing Exhaust - Dual Exhaust
#1
Does anyone have this setup?
What is the performance?
How quiet is it?
Any big-bores test it yet? Comparison vs. Ron Wood / CT / Gradon ?
I think the web site is something like lteracing.com Dual Exhaust Web Site

duneme i saw the lte on a raptor about 2 months ago it seemed to really help on it airraptor got it and wasn't happy with the welds. azsand said he felt the ds needs back pressure he had a dual set up. i'm sure interested because it was very quiet. well should be some word soon. i'm liking the graydon more and more.

It seems to me, that if you get the duals, and there was too little back pressure, that is one thing which isn't tough to add. (Spark Arrestor, or some steel wool? heh)
I REALLY like the idea of a pipe which performs excellent and is quiet, as well as good looking etc. I was about to go with MBRP, however the new sound laws in CA are too strict and I want even more performance with less sound. As the State of California and other states start writing thousands of sound violation tickets, the aftermarket pipe manufacturers will have to listen and make their pipes perform without extreme sound.

Its important to note that ALL of the LTE pipes have a goal of 93db. The current design Raptor pipe is getting redesigned so it will go from 96 DB to 93 DB. The DS pipe is still out for testing. I have a call into them as soon as more info is available. The LTE phone line is busy nearly 24X7 with the excitement over the new design DS pipe. Thank goodness I've got the owners cell phone number!

Here's an e-amil i got from LTE conscerning the DS pipe:
We are relocating the exhaust system to run through the frame and
exit like the polaris shown on the web site. Without the quiet cores
installed they are in the 100 DB range. With this kit you will remove
the stock air box and run a filter clamped to your carb.
Thanks Randy@LTE

I do Ironrod. carb mounts are less than ideal in the woods trails, as I'm sure you are well aware.
Wonder why they don't just relocate the battery under the seat like they do on others, and brings the pipes down each side?
