Default what is concidered a spark arrestor?

i just made a new billet end cap for my ds. the extra power kicks butt. im making more...... does any one know what i would have to do to make a spark arrestor for this. someone said it just needs a screen. is this true? check out the pics of it. anyone interested in one?:cool

Umm....wheres the pics? What size bore did you make it? tapered or straight? Just wondering how people are making these compared to the way i made mine [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Default what is concidered a spark arrestor?

there are a couple of different types of spark arrestors out there. The most common is of the screen type. However, if you are looking to fulfill legal requirements for a riding area, any homemade S/A probably won't cut it. Most areas that require a spark arrestor require it to be USFS approved.
