Looks great!
I am going to send you some parts to coat
If I had one of those set-ups I would be powder coating every thing

That is the powder coating system!!!.. In the store here in town they have them on sale for $59.99. It might be cheaper for me to buy it, and ship it to you than buy it from the online store.
I did the rear caliper today (did it in yellow so it stands out).
Rear Caliper
I'm doing the front calipers tomorrow. Doing them in Black to contrast the yellow hubs.. I'll post pics then.
It makes no smell what-so-ever. You can't even smell anything when you open the oven for a quick peek.

Send the parts!!!!!!!! You pay the shipping and the powder (powder cost $10), I'll do the sand blasting and the coating.

Babymoose,
I ain't say'n it ain't true, but all of my powder coat research led me to believe a High voltage (15KV-35KV) unit was needed. This eliminates MIG and Arc cuz they're low voltage. If you have a TIG unit with a high freq. setup, it would be most likely to work. If I was inclined, I would set the current to zilch and connect the torch lead to the gun. Then I would pray for no yellow rain and step on the gas pedal.
But personally, I wouldn't dink with this as my lincoln unit would blow my arms off if I was wrong. Especially since I've stared at the Harbor Freight unit more than once and <$100 bones ain't worth making the Darwin awards.....
Does anybody know if those spindle snouts are screwed or pressed in and if there is a seperate part # for them?

I have a small buisiness, Powdercoating,Chromeplating and polishing. I started with the Eastwood set up and it has worked great. I have a eight foot oven now for frames and any big stuff. It does put off a odor when you get more item cooking. I have powdercoated or chrome plated every part of my Bomb and it is holding up great. good luck guys

slowride...
The spindle is a press fit. I used aluminum foil to cover the spindle so no powder got on it. Works great!! I also ordered some high temp tape for powder coating (it doesn't burn off in the oven). But I'm mainly using the aluminum foil, it's WAY cheaper.
Hurycne
Doing a few items would actually be in my benefit. $10 worht of powder goas a LONG way, so I'll get to keep the powder.
Also, just got some Candy Apple Red powder in the other day.... Can't wait to try that on the race car parts......

DDRecDS,
Do you think you could send a few pictures of that powder coated, chromed quad my way? I think that sounds like it would be a work of art, and I would like to appreciate fine art work! I can PM you my email address. (Don't need my email address spread across the world...)
Gaskett,
Keep posting those pictures - the powder coating you are doing looks really good!
