Default Whats this crap?

Someone on Ebay is selling a "aftermarket rectifier/regulaters". They are stating that buying this product will result in a claiimed 8 % HP increase. Is this possible?

All the rectifier does is is change DC to AC from the stator to the battery..... I don't know how you can get more power by "helping" the charge to the battery........ Unless they are talking about CDI's?.

You got that one backwards...

Rectifiers are used for the conversion of alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC). (to charge the battery)
