guys i have a question for you,are 400ex tie rod ends similar to ds's tie rod ends,thanks.

 

never noticed that they look almost the same.

 

sandman i see that you have both quads can you check if the ex tie rods will fit on your ds,im asking this because i will be buying strong arms whit tie rods but hsd only has 400ex tie rod ends so i would like to make sure they fit before i buy them,thanks.

 

Humm...they do look a lot alike. Short of removing them and swapping them to see. I would say it would be a crap shoot though.

 

what is it you want to know, couldn't you thread the honda ends on a ds tie rod, or are you wanting to know length. i'll do what i can, but i'd rather not take both machines apart to switch but i would do a lot of measuring. i'll go check the band names now that i can see in the garage better, well this is whaty i see the rods look to be the same thickness and thead as the ds rods, but the ends are completely different in bolt size the ds is a size ot two larger. but it does look like you could put on on the ds rod from a honda.

 

well what i mean is if the tie rod end bolt fits in the ds spindle,sorry.

 

no to that there different sizes the honda being smaller.
