Thanks for the advice

Just adjusted my rear shock . Thanks for the advice on how easy it was. The only hard part was undoing the lock ring. But when I took the weight off the wheels( old steering column and a flat 2x4 under the six pack rack--perfect) the shock started to turn and the rest was history. Now no rider -no sag, rider on - 4" of sag. I had to adjust the spring way down but it worked. You guys did so well now whats the trick for the front shocks. They look like they might be on their stock setting, I figure about 1" tighter will work for me. Any tips on a easy way to shorten them ? Thanks Also anyone recommend a good combo tire for sand , hard pack and loose rock. For Glamis I have strickly paddles but when I ride out at Superstition my knobbys just aren't quite enough for the sand and the paddles get destroyed in the rocks . Someone on here recommended Mudlites by ITP , any other suggestions? Thanks

Front shocks- elka, works pro series, tcs. That is probably the best way to go. I blew the seal right out of the top of my stock front shocks jumping a big tabletop at our local riding area.
