hi all today we went out riding our atv's and my brother has 2002 ds-650 baja and in the night we notes that the head pipe was glowing cherry red color and a lot of back firing so is this is lean condition or rich and his mod is full trinity pipe and K&N filter with no lid and main jet is around 182 to 187 i dont dont remember it corectly so any help is needed ...........

 

When mine was on gas that is about the same jetting as I had but with the lid on. My low jet; the one that is confusing with the main jet, was at a 47.5 and that made a world of diff and they never glowed.
