Do you gear backup with a 720? Dune riding

I have a 15t on the front, I feel I need to increase gearing as 1st and 2nd rev thru pretty fast.

I went from a 15 to a 16 when I went to the Stage 3. SO im guessing the answer is yes.

i've always geared up, even with a piped DS. first gear is too short. first gear w/stock gearing is a waste for sand drag racing.

Me too. Alot of people gear down and blow through to 4th but I like to use 1st and 2nd as much as possible because the ratios are better for acceleration

well i run 17/40 and thats wit 22" tires, and thats only piped and jetted, so i'd say for sure gear up wit the 720, can't say from experience tho

i run 15-43 and 23" tires and start in second and fith is faster than i like to go, but this is just one way gearing up and starting in 1st works won't want to max 5th that way. think it would be close to a 100 that way
