well that would be great if they get a 450 class quad bomb might become the brand of choice. i know the ski-doo shop does well around here, they told me the other sled have shear speed but that the ski-doo have the handling. so maybe there going to put some of that into a knock out quad.

Here's what I heard. They were working on a mid-size sport quad. Then the YFZ came out and it basically sent them reeling. They realized that what they were working on was no match for the YFZ and the upcoming Honda. BOmb realized that this is a very competitive field that will be judged by competition in the purest form, racing. They went back to the drawing board and are planning a 450 to compete against the YFZ etc. But a lot of valuable time was lost. Fortunately, it was in the early stages, so it was relatively easy to can the project and start over. The original project might have made it out by March, but do to the redesign, we will have a much longer wait. When it gets here it will definetly be a contender, but don't hold your breath, it will most likely be a 2006 at the earliest.

Thats the best thing they could have done!! I give it up to BOMB for being PROUD enough to go back to the drawing board. If it takes them till '06 to come out with a Light wieght quad with the APRILLA/ROTAX 450 V-twin in it. It will be the BADDEST quad ever made, PERIOD!
Besides......That should give me enough time to LOOSE 60lbs so I wont look like a Monkey F*&^%$ a football when I buy one![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

it is coming in march and its spose to be a 400 i had my uncle see about it today and he siad he would try to print some out so i could have and i am gonna get him to try to call the place tomarrow see if its a 400 or 450 or possably both,it would be awesome if they had reverse on them thats one reason i dont got a ds or a raptor becuase they are high up compaired to most bikes

Heck I'm looking for a 3rd quad... considering a Honda 450 or a YFZ 450.. but if Bomb makes one.. I'm game.. 2006 I can have the cash for one....I'll wait.. and if it's a v-twin.. it will smoke everything out there...just gotta keep it light this time around and it will spank.
