Default Grab bar..Agian!!!!!

Ok this is getting bad this is my 2nd grab bar in as many weeks.. My new bomber piece died after 1 failed wheelie attempt!! Ok yes I know that nothing will last forever but come on.. This was even in moist dirt to boot?? Has anyone had good luck with or know of a good piece that will last a little longer??? I am looking for standard grab bar or maybe a baja bar (desert) no 6 pack racks.. I wouldn't be that worried But my pipe is taking a beating and I really can't afford to replace it!!! Thanks

Malinios,

Sure!, you can have one made of Titanium, or tool steel - but then your subframe would bend.

The PRM is stronger than stock, but if you bent two stock ones in 2 weeks, I'm not sure any aftermarket bar can protect against that. Sandman is right though, you can try a PRM for pretty cheap - cheaper than a new pipe.

yeah with the weight of the ds it is hard to know what will happen. one thing you could do is keep that foot on the rear brake and when that wheelie gets to high tap it.

Thanks all!!!! PRM here I come I will promise to be nicer to these.... Ok the foot on the brake would work but I stand up and look over the nose (to many trees around!) My legs already damaged from a racing accident so it dosen't bend that well anymore... So I am just a bunged and battered relic of a rider----LOL.... But thanks all!!!! Ill order 2....Woww those prices are really good!!!
