Default setting the DS up for MX

i wanna start to race Mx with my Ds. I wanna know what modifications i should do to my Ds to make it competive and jump better. I dont really need my quad to be faster. Shes fast enough. I was thinking about lowering it, gettin better suspension and losing weight. Anyone have any suggestions?

3 steering dampener
4 tbr lowering kit with shocks (like saint650 said)
