Default Outlander 400 ?'s

That is great to hear I guess I better start saving my pennies--- I would assume at least for an XT it would be around 8000US even without an xt package prob 7200.00 I bet.

I see you have a outlander... But Im sure they are very very few Bombardier dealers in that area... and thats probally why there are fewer bombs there.. im sure ds650s are popular in cali... But for the most part until recently bomb only had a lot of dealers on the states bordering canada (there are 3 within 20 miles of the buffalo area) I know some people drive 100 miles+ to go to their dealer... Bomb is surely on the fastrtack upwards because people are starting to realize that their ATVs are as good as their snowmobiles.. so more dealers will be more owners... I am the only person that I know that owns a outlander ..and have spoke to people who dont even know what the otherlander is.... and a couple people who have never even heard of bombardier. So that kinda says it all

That is good news about the 750 I just wish that they would bring out a 500 too. Like I said before my only concerns are there are very few aftermarket accessories for the outlander and the Plastic seems to be too soft and looks bad only after a few rides.

Default Outlander 400 ?'s

Just to let you guys know. We were out drag racing in about an inch of snow today on a very flat field, (hard to find in central PA). I had my Sportsman 700 and Outlander 400 and a buddy was riding his Grizzley 660. We all switched back and forth on all three bikes to get over the fact that one drive was better than another and to see who was the fastest. The guy with the 660 weighs about 180, , I'm 240, and my brother in law is around 225.

The Grizzley was the fastest in every race, but my 700 needs a tune up. I don't know if that would help though, the Grizzley is pretty fast. The Sportsman consistantly pulled away from the 400, but the 400 hung tough for about 100 yards.

The Sportsman topped out at about 58 before we ran out of room, Grizzley at 62 and the 400 at 54.

All in all, a lot of fun and a nice test. Now if we only had a Prarie 700! I think it would had blown away the Grizzley.

BTW: In the short turns, the Outy handeled better than the Grizzley as the guy riding it felt like he had to slow down or tip.

Jim!
