Look, selective four wheel drive wouldn't cut it either...the weight is there no matter which mode you're in. The bottom line is that there is no perfect wonder machine that fills every niche. That's why we need manufacturers to offer a broad range of models. Perhaps the most fickle bunch to satisfy is the high-performance crowd. For all its greatness the DS is too heavy. The Raptor won't completely satisfy the Yamaha faithful either, at least in stock trim no machine ever does.
