Does anybody know where I can find a 11:5:1 compression piston for my "01" DS650. That is ready with everything and ready to be in.

try a search on the forums. there is all the info on this forum that you need that has already been posted. this might be quickier than waiting for everyone to post. IMO! just try 12:1 piston on the bomb forums or what ever you need.

I called FTZ out of Cape Girardeau,Mo.,and they told me $150.00 for the 11.5:1.There number is 1-573-334-5439,they are open Mon.-Fri. 9-5.

 

stock compression is close to 10:1. 11.5:1 isn't going to gain much. there is a 14:1 available.

Hey Martianman, That ftz piston you where talking about what all does it come with. Do they have a kit where all the cams, valve springs, piston rings, and all of that stuff comes with it. If so about how much is it. I found one for $950.00. So if this one has a kit with every thing and it is cheaper I will go this route. Thanks

 

Haulinonthedunes, for a couple hundred more you can get a bore kit. Check out Tvi.

 

Haulinonthedunes,FTZ doesn't sell a kit,but they do portwork and anything pertaining to engine building.The piston is a JE.They are top of the line,used by many top cart racers,some of their products can be seen on www.ftzracing.com.They can get most any parts needed also.Hope this helps,Marvin

It's nice to see that the 14:1 is getting some recognition... Finally!

 

Call Gary at TVi and he will sell you a full kit I think for $850 or something like that!! His Stage 2 type kit worked awsome in mine.
