I will let you know if I plan to go to Silver Lake. How far are you from Silver Lake, LaPorte looks reasonably close?.
Do you ride with Hightower much? He said he has trips planned for Little Sahara, Silver Lake, Big Rock, and somewhere out west.
Looser rules at Little Sahara? Do they look close for spark arrestors? I've already heard that Silver Lake is very strick on that sort of thing.

I am about 3 Hrs from Silver Lake, that is why I go there. I ride with Hightower whenever I can, mostly at the BAdlands, I don't get to take many long trips, so I am not sure what other trips I will be able to make. I don't think you need SA's at LIttle S, I don't think you even have to wear a helmet( not sure) last I heard you can ride 2 up as well. Silver lake they will check you for sound and SA on the weekends, a good chance you would not even get checked during the week. You could put your stock end cap on to get past the inspection, then when you get in the dunes, put your other end cap back on. I have never seen DRN check anybody inside the dunes, but I try to stay away from them.
