Just checking to see if there is any new info on gearing.
I'm still running 20's not 22's(tires) and I'm not planning on going to 22's any time soon.
I ride dunes alot and desert trails, (go figure I live in the Mojave desert) have a 15 tooth now thought about a 14 tooth but from the posts I have read said they did that with 22's.
Anyway if anyone has some good info on this please let me know

try 15-42 works good

 

With 20's 14 would prolly be geared kinda low for the desert. In the sand you'll be running in 4th and 5th almost all the time and even looking for a 6th more than not. With a stage 2 on the way I would stick with a 15 /40 combo if your gonna stick with 20's

 

Stock gearing for a 03DS is 16f and 40b right?

 

that was stock, think they changed in 04
