Default 100/90 Blue Xenon bulb strain electrical system?

I just ordered a 100/90 Blue Xenon bulb for by Baja DS. My question is, will this put a strain on my electrical system since I'm also running the two 35 watt auxillary lights the Baja came with?

I just picked up bulbs for my two auxs at an auto parts store and they were 55watt replacements *and* a direct match on the part numbers....Not sure whats going on there.

Basically, you are taking a 50w bulb out and adding a 100. You are really only adding 50 watts to the stock system.

Were did you get the xenon from?

I ran the 100/90 Blue Xenon bulb along with my two 55w trail teck lights for about a year with no probs at all. I got my Xenon bulb from Pep Boys. Only draw back was they only come two to a package. 28 bucks plus tax. As it turned out I needed the other one when a rock took out my first one.

Thanks. I've seen those, just didn't want to through duckets at the bulbs without verification. Our pep boys flips over open packages cuz the kids run them ragged with refunds. I seen one kid throw a fit because the bulb was bad when he bought it *and* he still got a refund.....

The lower pair on the Bajas are H3s.

Might want to take a look at PIAA 135/115 bulbs, they produce the light output of 135 watts but only draw 60 watts. I have one in my DS and could not be happier with it. The bulb was like $40 but you get what you pay for.....

That is kinda cool, a little less draw would always be nice. You never know when you might want extra light or power for something else.
