hi all and last night i tryed to take off the clutch side cover and i notes that i cant takeit off it seemed that its stuck in some thing and i cant take it off and the clutch shaft that holdes the cable in it is rotating by hand so easy and thear is some crashing sound coming out and i think i realy smash it up real bad so did any boddy face this broplem before and how to get it out the side cover and help or pic of how to get it out ???

 

Make sure all the bolts are out including the ones that hold in the starter. Make sure everything is out of the way including nerf bars and footpegs. You also have to take off the water pump cover and the shift lever. When everything is loose then tap the cover with a rubber mallet and it should then slide right off. As far as the bad sounds, some people have had the gear strip out that pulls the clutch basket. This is what is attached to the pivot arm.
