I am changing to stiffer springs. I was wondering how hard it is to change them. Are they hard to get to when you pull your clutch cover off? How long does it take? Also i am not going to drain my oil i was just going to lay it on its side like put two center blocks under the two left side tires. I was just needing some info on if there is anything i need to know about while changing the springs or is it all a piece of cake. How hard is it putting the clutch cover on after u finish putting the springs in. Thanks alot Lance

I dont understand. I have never done this before and dont even know what it looks like behind that clutch cover. I know there are 9 allen wrench screws holding the cover on, after i get the cover off what do i do next. If you could tell me step by step it would be greatly appriciated. Thanks alot for all the info. Lance

Once you remove the clutch cover. The clutch basket is right in front of you. It has 6 bolts. Each bolt has a washer that holds the springs down. Each of the bolts needs to removed little by little. Once there removed you can pull the pressure plate off. behind the pressure plate are the clutches and metal fibers. One of the clutches has smaller tabs on it and is offset from the others. You will need to find it in your new clutches, it will go on last. You will pull all the plates and metal fibers out. Then replace with the new ones and replace the pressure plate and put your springs in. Tighten the bolts the same way you removed them little by little.

Thanks but i am not changing my clutch plates just the springs. So all i have to do is remove the clutch cover then undo the six bolts with washers and but the new springs on and tighten all six bolts little at a time and but the clutch cover on and i am ready to go correct. Let me know if this is right. Thanks again for all the help. Lance
