How Was Dumont?
#2
It was very nice weather, A bit of a breeze helped alot.
The dunes were hammered--The carb did great, Just a tad bit of superfine tuneing @ the hill ( which took about 1 minute) and I just ran straight 110-115 octane and it accelorated very fast, I was putting 6-8 lengths on Shane B at least when I didnt hold back, (no offense to shane, his bike ran alot stronger this time "good job on your bike Shane")... I need to gear taller with new carb, I actually can get away w/ dumping it wide open in 3rd gear launching without much of a bog with 17-40, but I still need to go taller for a good 2nd gear launch to pull 3rd longer( I should have geared accordingly to Dyno sheet inrease). The carb was much more consistant than my TM with temp changes... I met dsguy and Air, and saw Slowride and co, I might have missed a few others. There bikes are all very impressive.. Air has a new 720 motor I think he said TVI and it was all decked out for maximum Airtime. I did 53 mph up the hill on all motor (straight gas) but should be a different story when I go taller w/ gearing, But the good thing is that I get up to 53 a LOT faster than I did before when my bike was heavier and had different carb.. To bad you couldnt make it sixsixty. I wont be back to Dumont till next season.
Time to set the bikes up for Flat drags @ Pismo beach.

It was a good time out there. Annihilater your quad was sure running strong out there. Was shocked to see that 400ex line up with you, HEHEHE that had to be the fastest 400ex I have ever seen.
Well my stage2 DS was running great, ohhhh it was so nice. Was nice winning all those drags I did out there(I did lose a couple), what a change from my 250x and 300ex days.
Anyone run against that DS650 on NOS? I talked to him was a very nice guy, I beat him in a race but his NOS bottle was empty so might have had a different out come. Would have liked to seen him run with the NOS on.
Anyway was cool seeing a couple of you guys out there, hope to see you guys again at the dunes.

Just got back to Utah. 11 hours. It was nice meeting you Mario. I had a great time. My DS needs to go on a diet, but where I ride I need the armor. Damn your DS was fast. My buddy with the Shee didnt loose his engine, his clutch basket blew up.

I looked for you guys but didn't see anyone I recognized nor anyone fitting the descriptions I had. We had a pretty amusing day anyhow. I'm hoping to go back in two weeks with any luck - assuming it's not hotter than it was this weekend.
